 Grammar:

The basis of the English language is in understanding its verbs. When we can form verbs, we can form sentences.

We can form to be with the full form I am or the contraction I´m

SUBJECT TO BE CONTRACTION
I AM I’M
YOU ARE YOU’RE
HE/SHE/IT IS HE’S
WE ARE WE’RE
YOU (ALL) ARE YOU’RE
THEY ARE THEY’RE

Remember: In English we be years and not have years,

I am 33 years old.

Next year I will turn 34, but now I am 33.

When we talk about our birthday, we need to use the preposition on and of in spoken English:

“My birthday is on the 31st of January”.

 Grammar: W- question words

Use W- question words like What, Where, When

Examples:

What is your name? My name is Marc

Where are you from? I am from Britain

When is your birthday? My birthday is on the 31st of January

 Role-play:

Person 1: Hello, nice to meet you. What is your name?
