Telling the time in English: how to tell the time

In English, time is always singular. for example:

  • It is 1 o´clock.
  • It is 2 o´clock.
  • It is 3 o´clock.
  • It is 4 o´clock.
  • It is 5 o´clock.
  • It is 6 o´clock.
  • It is 7 o´clock.
  • It is 8 o´clock.
  • It is 9 o´clock.
  • It is 10 o´clock.
  • It is 11 o´clock.
  • It is 12 o´clock.

:15 quatre past … It is quatre past four.
:30 half past … It is half past six.
