The next word in our vocabulary boost series is GIVE. GIVE is a high frequency verb that can be used as a synonym of hand in, distribute, offer or help. There are numerous collocations and phrasal verbs that are formed using GIVE.

VOCABULARY BOOST- GIVE

Give over to – dedicate/hand over possession of something to someone
